I just noticed the matchaffinity 3 day free trial is still on for December 2011. You need to use a special link to access it, though and sign up through that link. If you haven’t signed up to the site yet, then use the link below to go to matchaffinity and get the trial. Make sure you read the small print to see how you can cancer before being charged, as I assume you need to put in your credit card details to get the trial.

December is approaching and with it comes party season. There’s no better time to attend a singles’ event and if you want to meet London singles, then you’re in luck. You can take the personality test for free and “review your matches” (basically, look at people’s profiles the site has chosen for you) but if you want to communicate with anyone, you’ll need to pay up. This is a good opportunity to try a different dating site or at the very least an excuse to have a look and see if you like the looks of people on the site. A word of warning, though – the site makes you sign up for a free account before you can even look at the people. Swoon is a simple to use dating site that has a basic personality test (nothing too lengthy or complicated) to help you find people who are more compatible than your average random stranger. If you’re in the USA (USA only, sorry Canada) then you can head over to eHarmony from tomorrow (Fri 28/1/11) and be able to use more features for free. They’re having a free guided communications event that will span the whole of the month of February, plus the last few days in January. Don’t expect to be using the entire site and everything it has to offer for free, but this does mean you can make a little bit more contact with your matches (who you can view for free anyway, regardless of any special offer periods). If you’re interested in this, sign up earlier rather than later, as it can take eHarmony some time to start sending you interesting matches, plus new people join all the time. If you’re looking to use match.com for free, you’re not the first. I get loads of people asking me all the time how they can use match.com (or match.com UK 
) without paying.
Match is a paid site, so long term, you’re going to have to pay. There is no way around that that’s worth mentioning. On the other hand, you can have free trials on both the American and the British Match and you can get money off the American site.
Match free in the UK
Sometimes, Match UK offer 3 or 7 day free trials that you can use. If they do, they’d plaster it all over the site, so you’ll see it when you go there to join. Click here to go to match.com UK and see.
If nothing appears there, you can sometimes still get 7 days for free on the site unociffially. Go to this post to find out how.

In the USA, there are always offers on. For example, you can click here to get a 3 day trial on Match.

If you’re in the US (sorry, Canada) and keen to try eHarmony.com to see if it works for you, you can save some money by using their upcoming free communications period starting this Friday.
They used to run free communucations weekends but recently they’ve been extending those periods to 10 whole days.
Sign up as soon as possible to take full benefit of this, as it can take time to receive suitable matches (that’s the way eHarmony.com works – sending you matches rather than you having to search for them).
I assume by “guided communications” they mean you can send and receive the preset questions they have on the site, so don’t expect to be able to write up long, detailed messages to people on the site. Still, it’s a good way to try out the site and the way it works. If you don’t like using this form of messaging then eHarmony is probably not for you anyway.
